Jonathan Wright

Jonathan is an executive Board Member, with a special interest in firearm policy, law, and firearms in general.

He has been active in the South African firearm policy debate since early 2017 after completing his BA International Studies undergraduate degree, and returned to Stellenbosch University in 2018 for a postgraduate LLB degree, which he is soon to complete.

With a particular interest in liberal philosophy, the Rule of Law, and constitutionalism, he is fiercely committed to bringing about reforms for accountable, fair, and rational firearm legislation. His contributions to date in this regard have ranged from research to public advocacy since joining the fight for firearm rights, and he believes in the right of all law-abiding persons to keep and bear arms.
